Project Description:

SEC designed, permitted and constructed a customized, aesthetic solution to address an unstable slope at the subject property. Three (3) retention walls (upper, mid and lower) were constructed in near parallel alignment across the slope. The walls had approximately three vertical feet of exposure and were constructed utilizing reinforced concrete poured-in-place into intricately prepared curvilinear forms. 

On another threatened area of the project site, SEC completed a shotcrete slope facing (approx. 16' long x 6' high) against a section of an exposed, near-vertical sandstone slope. This project element included a below-grade concrete grade beam, 16 bonded anchors and an 8" thick sculpted shotcrete facing. 

A final project element included the construction of a curved, concrete stairway and elevator pit wall, again using special forms for the poured-in-place structure.
